Our Work on 380 Melbourne

While SDA spaces are built especially for people with a disability, all new buildings must adhere to general guidelines prescribing the minimum features for accessibility. At Altro Building Solutions, we take the utmost care in upholding these principles. By ensuring that all people have access to the same spaces, we help to enable opportunities for social and economic participation. One of our most exciting recent projects has been 380 Melbourne. Positioned at the heart of Victoria’s vibrant capital, this upcoming complex comprises residential apartments, a boutique hotel, and ground-floor retail along with a host of other amenities. This 67-level skyscraper will stand 217.5 metres tall.

The living spaces of 380 Melbourne are characterised by clean, modernist design principles with a focus on open living spaces and high-quality materials. The entryways we created work to support this approach by being as unobtrusive as possible while maximising the available space. 

The door systems selected for this project were the Euro Cav Cavity Sliders and Euro Jamb Single Rebate. Featuring high-quality European tracks and carriage headwear, these doors provide excellent space efficiency and durability.

All the door systems featured in 380 Melbourne are able to be customised to provide for the needs of those with a disability, meaning that no one is excluded from the opportunity to enjoy the many offerings of this unique development.
